What’s the best thing about garage sales?

As they say, one man’s trash is another’s treasure - finding some older pieces no longer in stores can beef up your wardrobe, and it’s cheap!

What’s the best thing you’ve ever bought at a garage sale?

An old rusted painter’s ladder - covered in old paint - it looks 100 years old but perfect in my apartment. 

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen at a garage sale?

A used toilet seat - gross. 

What goes on in your garage?

Moving boxes I will just never get time to unpack and my car!

Whose garage sale would you most like to go to? 

Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson’s - I’m sure they would have some interesting junk. 

What would be your dream garage sale find?

A perfectly aged 1970s vintage Gucci leather jacket. 

What’s the most treasures possession in your garage? 

A bright yellow boogie board with ‘BONDI’ written in huge black letters. 

Who would be in your dream garage band? 

Courtney Love. 

Whose second hand shoes would you most like to walk in?

Johnny Depp’s, during the Kate Moss years. 

What’s your best tip for ‘Garage Sale etiquette”? Don’t show up with credit cards and $100 notes, take small change.

Only use what you actually need.
