Garage Sale Lesson #3 A+ is for effort ( I never really ‘got’ that expression). While it might be tempting to simply treat your garage sale as a way to get rid of your stuff, much can be said for pride in presentation. You’ll notice in this snap (again from the Daintree garage sale) that lengths have been taken to give this pre-loved plush a little spruce prior to presenting. No-one like the idea of buying their kids manky-looking toys. Funnily enough, only moments after this picture was taken a lady bought this entire collection for $50 to outfit a new kid’s play area in a local cafe. Bargain indeed! AND super fantastic to know that these little cuddlies will be bringing much love to the kids. :) The Garage Gossip
